About

Hi!

Hi! I’m Fabiana, a London-based designer with 17 years of experience in the creative industry. I specialise in branding within the digital realm, UI and UX research.

I collaborate with startups and large organisations to develop visually appealing brand stories and design strategies. I work across different media, with a focus on digital design but including publishing, editorial, events and OOH. My portfolio features projects commissioned by renowned brands such as BBC, Hachette UK, Aardman studios, Night&Day, Cartoon Network, Pokerstars, Toshiba, Openreach, and many more.

I have a passion for using design to improve educational experiences. I believe that great design can improve children’s lives and that, as designers, we have a responsibility towards the new generations and their future. I regularly volunteer with Apps for Good, a UK based tech charity that helps students across the UK developing new apps ideas.

Design, to me, is a harmonious blend of technique and deep emotional connection. For every project I take on, I make sure to start with an emotional foundation. The output I produce is always the culmination of this core emotional process. I am always eager to dive into new projects and experiment with different media, and I approach every project with curiosity and enthusiasm. If you have any enquiries or would like to collaborate, please feel free to get in touch here

Apart from designing, I enjoy various activities, including watching movies, reading manga and fairy tales, reading about typography, illustration, photography, playing video-games, traveling, and sipping on Earl Grey tea.

My work is play. And I play when I design. I even looked it up in the dictionary, to make sure that I actually do that, and the definition of “play,” number one, was “engaging in a childlike activity or endeavor,” and number two was “gambling.” And I realize I do both when I’m designing.
